Beth and Brian Garrett Include Wesley Homes in their Estate

“No more cooking!” responds Beth Garrett enthusiastically to the question, “Why are you looking forward to living at Wesley Homes Bradley Park?” But then she quickly adds, “…and the opportunity to live with my Puyallup friends.”

Beth caught the "Wesley bug" from her husband, Brian, who has helped Wesley Homes through his dedicated board service and philanthropy for almost 20 years.

In addition to his term as Chairman of the Board of Trustees from 1999 to 2001, the high point for Brian was the hiring of Kevin Anderson, Wesley Homes President and Chief Executive Officer.

Brian thinks of his time on the board as an honor and a privilege. "I feel nothing but gratitude to serve the residents of Wesley Homes in this way," he says.

Evidence of the Garrett's commitment to Wesley Homes can be seen in the generous provision they made in their will. A percentage of their estate will go to Wesley Homes in order to further its mission to serve older adults.

"To us, Wesley Homes is family," Brian says, "and just like our own family, we want to do all we can to secure its future."

Like the Garretts, you too can support Wesley Homes' ability to serve older adults well into the future with a gift in your estate plan. Contact David Snow at 206-870-1261 or dsnow@wesleyhomes.org to learn more about your giving options.
